We are currently partnering with a highly reputable organisation based in London, to help recruit a Compliance Officer to join them on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with compliance experience in the insurance sector who thrives in a professional, high-quality environment and is looking to make a real impact! Duties will include: Supporting the company’s compliance framework, ensuring regulatory obligations are met and best practices are embedded across the business Assisting in the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of policies, procedures, and controls to ensure ongoing compliance with FCA and other relevant regulations Conducting regular monitoring activities, audits, and file reviews to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement Preparing compliance reports for management, summarising findings, risks, and recommended actions Working closely with underwriters, claims handlers, and other internal teams to ensure compliance considerations are embedded in daily operations Maintaining accurate and up-to-date compliance records, registers, and reports for internal and external stakeholders Assisting in the preparation and submission of regulatory returns Supporting the delivery of compliance training to staff, promoting awareness of regulatory obligations and company standards The successful candidate will have: Proven compliance experience within an insurance environment A good understanding of FCA regulations and risk management principles Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present compliance requirements in a clear and practical way In return the company is offering a competitive salary dependent on experience, a discretionary bonus scheme, 33 days annual leave (incl. bank holidays), Private Medical and Life Insurance, hybrid working and more!
