The role also involves a share of the general workload in the department, with general cross-sectional and ultrasound imaging, taking part in the acute rota and consultant-led on call at either Basingstoke or Winchester.

Main duties of the job

The post is primarily to support the nuclear medicine department, which is currently provided by a visiting radiologist from another trust who works 2 sessions for HHFT, giving additional local expertise and providing resiliance. It will also support the general rota with both acute and outpatient reporting, including supporting the on call rota.
