Role Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Sales Enablement and Customer Success
Design and shape IT services and/or solutions that meet the customer business requirements.
Ensure service solutions align with the organisation's Standard Service Offerings and the organisation’s Enterprise Architecture Approach.
Focusing on ITIL Service Design factors such as, scalability, performance, security and compliance and integration with the clients Service Capability stack, including capacity management.
Lead in defining SLAs that outline the performance expectations, availability, and support levels for each IT service during sales activities through contract management to the point of ELS.
To working with the Product Team, ensuring that all services are accurately described and aligned with business needs, and that the Service Catalogue of Standard Service Offers Catalogue flows down to customer contracts.
Ensure understanding a customer’s future requirements, identify potential risks associated with the Service Design and propose mitigation strategies to ensure service reliability and availability, ensuring this information is successfully handed over to Operations during Service Transition.
Bid Support
Develop compelling propositions for clients, including writing proposals and contracting those proposals with clients.
Closely coordinate work activities with sales support, bid support and service resources to align product/service design with customers’ business requirements.
Contribute to and assist with the creation of Bid documentation, proposals and presentations for use in sales activities.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with internal and external business stakeholders including Service Management and Architecture teams to ensure a smooth flow of information between Operations and Sales.
Ensure that all new services and design documentation is successfully handed over to the Operations teams to ensure a smooth transition of service.
Prepare and deliver product messaging to highlight value proposition and unique differentiators by assisting with content for marketing collateral and sales presentations.
Education and Experience Requirements
As an Architect you will have:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a service management, engineering, or delivery role and/or pre-sales equivalent in a managed services environment.
Strong experience and awareness of service architecture as it pertains to managed service models, such as ITIL framework practices, with an understanding of general business principles including an appreciation of business economics, customer markets and operating environments.
Worked in or around Solutions/Enterprise Architecture practices and/or methodologies.
Experience working in a Defence setting would be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven ability to produce quality documentation for high level design work and bid material and skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams.
UK Security Check (SC) clearance is required for this position. Candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain SC clearance, with a view to obtaining UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance as required.
