Coming Soon – Nomination Italy monobrand store opening in Overgate, Dundee.

Argento Contemporary Jewellery Ltd is delighted to announce that we are opening a Nomination Italy monobrand store.

Argento is one of the UK and Irelands leading fashion jewellers. With over 20 years’ experience, we know what we’re talking about when it comes to jewellery! The first Argento store opened in Belfast in 1997 that has grown to have more than 25 stores throughout the UK and Ireland and a thriving website that offers worldwide delivery.

We are excited to announce that we are OPENING a new Nomination Italy mono-brand store in Overgate Shopping Centre, Dundee in 2025.

We are currently seeking the following sales advisor positions:

Contract: 40hrs, 32 hrs, 28hrs, 16hrs & 12hr

To work a varied shift pattern, including day, evening and weekend shifts

Job Summary

To contribute in all ways to the effective day-to-day running of the store by providing an excellent service to customers; being at all times helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable about the products.

You will be responsible for assisting your colleagues and management team in daily tasks, such as sales, stock control and excellent customer service. Day to day, you will be responsible for achieving set targets, identifying and maximising on opportunities, whilst providing excellent customer service. You may be required to become a keyholder, which full training will be provided for. Duties are highlighted below, please note this is not an exhaustive list and may be subject to change.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing exceptional customer services at all times, optimising sales through effective customer service and selling techniques
2. Keyholder responsibilities, including opening and closing store
3. Deal with customer concerns in a professional, calm, efficient and helpful manner
4. Supporting the management team with the day to day running of the store
5. Process till transactions effectively, accurately and efficiently; manage queues, as necessary
6. Operating the tills, handling financial transactions including refunds and following cashing up procedures
7. Assisting with deliveries; unpack deliveries and check dispatch notes in accordance with company procedures
8. Merchandising and replenishing stock as required, whilst maintaining high shop floor standards
9. Assist with stock takes and launch of sale
10. Minimise stock loss by ensuring all company security policies and procedures are implemented correctly and followed
11. Create and maintain a healthy and safe working environment for customers and staff ensuring the store is compliant with all health and safety regulations and company policies
12. Display a high standard of conduct, performance and behaviour at all times, in line with company guidelines, policy and procedure
13. Flexibility in changing working days with notice, to meet operational or other seasonal needs

THE INDIVIDUAL

The ideal candidate will be a positive and dedicated team player who is open to learning product knowledge and put training into practice. Providing customers with an unforgettable in-store experience.

The successful candidate will have:

14. Previous retail experience in a similar environment
15. Passionate about jewellery and customer service
16. Previous experience and ability to work towards targets
17. Must be helpful, polite, passionate and service minded
18. Experience in the use of Microsoft office packages and EPOS systems
19. High energy level and enthusiastic
20. Must be able to work as part of a team
21. Well presented with a positive, pro-active and professional approach
22. Ability to initiate contact and communication
23. High levels of accuracy and use of grammar
24. Must be fully flexible to work a varied shift pattern, including day, evening and weekend shifts, and additional hours during peak trading times

Desirable

25. 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including English and Math’s
26. Previous retail experience in a luxury retail environment
27. Interested in the latest trends and designs
