Semi Senior Accountant
Location: Doncaster, Office-based
Salary: Up to £35,000 Dependent On Experience
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday
We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing year-end accounts, as well as completing company and personal tax returns to review stage. The role will also involve producing management accounts for selected clients and taking the lead on audits.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
2. Completing self-assessment tax returns
3. Producing management accounts using software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
What we’re looking for:
4. Proven experience as an Accounts Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant within a practice
5. Essential audit experience
6. Strong proficiency with accounting software, including IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
7. Solid understanding of core accounting principles
8. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues
10. A proactive mindset with a commitment to accuracy and high-quality work
