About The Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer/Developer who MUST have experience in Next.js & React, and C#. The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and MySQL, with some exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms being a bonus. This role is perfect for someone with a few years of hands-on experience, looking to grow their skills while contributing to exciting projects in a collaborative team.
This is a hybrid role at our Wolverhampton NDC, with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
About You
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js/React, focusing on performance and scalability.
* Work with teams to integrate applications with APIs and databases, particularly using MySQL.
* Write clean, maintainable code using JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#.
* Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas for improvement.
* Report to and work closely with the Lead Software Engineer to meet project goals and timelines.
Preferred Skills
* Minimum of 3 years experience as a mid-level software engineer/developer.
* Practical experience with Next.js/React for web development.
* Practical experience with C#.
* Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript.
* Experience working with MySQL databases.
* A portfolio demonstrating relevant projects and skills.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Some knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus.
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
