The Role - Telesales & Lead Generation Salesperson We are looking for someone with a solid strong background in lead generation and sales, a hunter mentality who can open doors and create opportunities with prospects and lapsed customers. It will be a blend of contacting new business through leads and lapsed customers to generate & book appointments for the external field sales team. Responsibilities and Activities * Daily calls to prospect to build and manage lead pipeline * Prospecting via cold calling, emailing, and social media networking. * Qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria. * Conduct research for target accounts and identify key contacts from the focus segments for prospecting. * Provide weekly and monthly activity reports to management. * Enter and update CRM and maintain CRM with lead status and progress. * Assist Internal Sales lead qualifier Co-Ordinator as required. * Work closely with the Field based account managers to work towards a booked demonstration. Your Background - Telesales & Lead Generation Salesperson Skills and Experience * Minimum 2 years sales experience tele sales / lead generation. * Proven B2B lead generation or sales experience - desirable * Ability to learn, understand and promote technical products and software. * Excellent communication skills in speaking, writing and listening. * Ability to work independently. * Experience with Sales Force CRM software * An understanding of social media platforms - preferred Personal Attributes * Strong organisational and time-management abilities. * Strong communication skills. * Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in presenting solutions to customers. * The ability to motivate self and those around you The Benefits - Telesales & Lead Generation Salesperson This is a truly excellent opportunity to join a world-class manufacturer of optical medical systems.
