Job Opportunity: SEMH Specialist Teacher
Teaching Personnel is seeking qualified teachers with SEMH experience to join a team dedicated to transforming education for young people with SEN (Special Education Needs), SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), and other needs such as SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).
Qualifications required:
* BSc in Health and Social Care Level 3, 4 completed, currently studying Level 5
* NCFE CACHE Level 2 award in support work in schools and colleges

The SEMH role involves:
* Providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other educational needs
* Supporting their educational and social-emotional development
* Planning engaging and tailored sessions
* Completing lesson reports and providing progress feedback
SEMH requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or similar needs
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available if needed)
* Two professional references
* Must have the right to work in the UK
