Job Summary:

Duties
* Assist service users with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
* Administering or supporting with the ordering of medication as prescribed and ensure compliance with care plans.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment.
* Implement care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.
* Perform manual handling tasks when required, ensuring the safety of both the service user and yourself.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
* Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in senior care and medical terminology.
Skills:
* Experience in caregiving or related fields such as childcare, assisted living, dementia care, supported living, senior care, or patient care
* Knowledge of first aid and basic medical procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and patient nature
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
