About the Role
We are looking for a Band 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our team on Ward 6A at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team focused on delivering high quality, safe, and compassionate care to our patients.
Responsibilities
You will support patients by assisting with personal care, carrying out assessments such as mobility, nutrition, and skin viability, and contributing to nursing care plans. An interest in Cardiology, Diabetes, or Endocrinology would be beneficial, but full training will be provided as part of a competency‑based programme.
The successful candidate should be motivated, flexible, and committed to enhancing person‑centred patient care. You will need to be willing to work a flexible pattern including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays. Self‑rostering is available to help you balance work and family life.

Information for Candidates
Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part‑time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
