Salary
£71,889 to £80,079 comprising a basic salary of £68,745 and a concessionary payment of £3,144. Additional Skills Payment: £3,822 for Level 1 or £8,190 for Level 2.

Role Responsibilities
As an Enterprise Architect, you’ll lead and support fellow architects in shaping and embedding GCHQ’s enterprise architecture. You’ll design and maintain a complex portfolio of solutions, balancing organisational priorities with practical delivery, and work with senior colleagues to align with strategic goals and user needs. Once established you’ll also take on line‑management responsibilities for a small team.
Key Qualifications
* Practical experience as an Enterprise Architect, leading teams or line‑managing others.
* Understanding of architecture standards and frameworks such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, Zachman and MODAF, plus principles and governance models.
* Strong communication skills to engage senior stakeholders from technical and non‑technical backgrounds, explaining decisions and technical concepts in a suitable way.
* Ability to influence, negotiate, collaborate across diverse teams, and adapt to shifting priorities and manage time effectively.
