About the Job
Due to continued growth, we are looking for talented Sales Specialists to join Ingram Micro, working within our key vendor HP. Our Sales Specialists are customer-focused and able to build strong relationships within the customer base.
The training provided will enable you to gain in-depth knowledge of HP and their relevant programmes, incentives, products, and services offered by our vendors, to provide the best-in-class service and advice to your customer base.
What you can expect as a Sales Specialist:
* Sell products and services primarily by telephone to current customers.
* Develop a strong knowledge of the relevant products and services offered by the vendors within the portfolio.
* Provide information on product and service offerings by the vendor.
* Become a Trusted Advisor for both internal and external customers.
* Provide information on availability, discontinuation, & special offers.
* Provide pricing and quotations to customers.
* Follow up on sales leads and opportunities.
* Manage, develop, and monitor deal progress accurately.
* Maintain and improve revenue and profit while maintaining high customer service standards.
* Engage in sales focus days at Ingram Micro and customer locations as needed.
Skills and experience required:
* Previous experience in Sales, Account Management, or administrative roles with a proven success record.
* Effective communication skills via phone, email, and face-to-face.
* Motivated to understand and learn your subject matter.
* Ability to learn new technology releases in a dynamic environment.
* Good PC skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); CRM experience is a plus.
* Desire and ability to improve systems, programs, and processes.
