You’ll be the person colleagues turn to when they need clarity, support, or answers about their schedules and resourcing. You won’t just be planning hours; you’ll be supporting people. What you’ll be doing As a Resourcing & Scheduling Specialist, you’ll own the planning and scheduling activity for a specific business area, ensuring our workforce is ready to meet customer demand. Ensure resource levels and colleague availability meet operational needs, budget requirements, and overall workforce planning priorities. Support Business Managers by monitoring absence performance, maintaining accurate audit trails, and managing banked and flexi hours effectively. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency by reducing wasted hours, downtime, and other resourcing inefficiencies. Build strong, collaborative relationships across teams and provide clear, timely guidance in response to resourcing queries. Use planning tools, data insights, and real ‑ time trends to make informed decisions and recommend improvements to the analytics team. Provide regular updates and action plans on bank ‑ hour risks, resourcing pressures, and forecast ‑ driven adjustments needed to support key KPIs.
