Financial Controller - Part Time Office Based circa 16 hours per week

Established in 2007, Premiere Healthcare are a leading healthcare equipment distribution business; we are now seeking a Financial Controller to work closely with our accountants and Directors to drive performance, controls, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for someone perhaps looking to return to the workplace - hours are flexible across the working week
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the finance team
• Develop & enforce robust internal controls and financial governance
· Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis
· Manage cashflow, working capital and financial risk
· Manage supplier payments and credit control
· Asset management
· Prepare & submit Payroll to external provider
· Tax compliance, VAT & any liaison with HMRC
· Support strategic planning with financial modelling & forecasting
· Present financial information to the Directors and accountant
· Manage relationships with the bank and external advisors
· Mentor junior staff and help to build a high performing team as the business grows
About you:
• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) – or by experience at this level
• Strong Xero experience
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence decision making
• Analytical by nature with a keen eye for detail and process improvement
Hands on Financial Management experience in an SME
