Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Doncaster to recruit an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and motivated HLTA looking to make a positive impact in the classroom.
The Role:
As a Primary HLTA, you will:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in the teacher’s absence
* Support pupils’ learning on a 1:1 and small-group basis
* Assist with lesson planning, preparation and assessment
* Promote a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
* Work collaboratively with class teachers and senior leaders
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds HLTA status or equivalent qualification
* Has recent experience working in a UK primary school
* Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
* Is adaptable, proactive and passionate about supporting children’s learning
* Has a good understanding of the primary curriculum
