Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support the efficient operation of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
* Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
* Perform general site maintenance and cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment.
* Follow instructions from supervisors and senior workers to complete tasks effectively.
* Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Help in the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures or equipment.
* Support skilled tradespeople in their duties, providing assistance as needed.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key.
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
* A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on site.
* Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is desirable.
