About the role This newly created leadership position offers the opportunity to shape the future of a successful, values-driven organisation. Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the senior leadership team, the Commercial Manager will lead financial strategy, optimise commercial operations, and oversee key business support functions. With responsibility for Finance, Procurement, Stores, and Administration, this is a pivotal and well-supported role; ideal for a proactive, hands-on leader who thrives on making an impact.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance
2. Providing commercial insights and analysis to inform strategic decisions
3. Overseeing procurement, supplier relationships, and purchasing controls
4. Managing stores and inventory with a focus on optimisation and integration
5. Leading administration and business support
6. Coaching and developing a multidisciplinary team to achieve strong outcomes
7. Contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement

You’ll bring:
8. A tertiary qualification in accounting, a CA qualification preferred
9. Proven experience in a senior finance or commercial leadership role
10. Strong financial analysis, planning, and reporting capability
11. A strategic mindset paired with a practical, get-things-done attitude
12. Integrity, professionalism, and excellent interpersonal skills
13. A background in the agricultural, logistics, or infrastructure sectors sought.
