An independent business within the construction industry are seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant to join their accounts team. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of the company's financial operations.
Your new role
* Processing invoices onto the ledger
* Checking invoices against statements and chasing for missing invoices
* Processing the monthly payment run
* Reconciling the credit card, PayPal, and cash book to bank statements
* Preparing and analysing management accounts
* Providing sales ledger holiday cover on an ad hoc basis
What you'll need to succeed
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchase ledger
* Knowledge of Sage 50 is advantageous but not essential.
* Proficiency in Excel and Word
* Friendly and approachable demeanour
* Ability to solve queries and be flexible in approach
* Capability to work independently and use own initiative
