Job Description
This role involves the development of new own brand offerings across womenswear to achieve maximum sales and profit.
* The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise/influence at all levels, as well as strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse data.
Some key responsibilities include:
Samples Development
* Responsible for measuring and providing comments on own brand samples across all categories, ensuring they are completed within the required timeframe.
Quality and Fit Standards
* Ensure the brand quality and fit standards are achieved through effective management of critical path and production dates.
Team Support
* Provides support to the team to ensure successful completion of delivery priorities across the department.
Process Management
* Manages the overall development process, including supplier communication, record keeping, filing systems, movement of samples and sample storage.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a relevant fashion or textile degree, although this is not essential. They must also have:
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise/influence at all levels.
* Ability to manage a varied workload with conflicting and tight deadlines.
* High commercial awareness.
* Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse data.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office products, specifically Excel.
