Overview of the Role
Mott MacDonald is a market leader in the UK water sector, being a key supplier to major water companies and delivering a wide variety of engineering and advisory projects in support of the challenges faced by the sector. Our Digital Team will grow to support ambitious growth plans and help clients address pollution, leakage, climate change and other challenges through digital services and solutions. The role will work on live commissions and may assist with internal implementation initiatives. It requires a generalist with a broad understanding of the digital landscape, or specialist skills in areas such as information management, software development, GIS, data engineering or IT. The role involves strategic advisory services and implementation support to develop and deliver execution plans, and offers a progression route within the business and opportunities to develop next‑generation talent.
Essential Qualifications
* Degree level education in a subject relating to the position
* Excellent understanding of digital services and solutions applicable in the UK water industry
* Experience managing small digital delivery teams and supporting junior team members with career development
* Track record of working closely with clients to advise and implement on digital change
* Excellent technical report writing skills using concise English
* Strong communication skills with experience in effective collaboration across internal multi‑disciplinary teams as well as client teams
Desirable Qualifications
* Chartered Status with a recognised Professional Institution
* Experience and track record with applying the principles of ISO19650
* Experience with change management principles
* Experience working within the UK water industry
* Experience with Python, PowerAutomate & PowerBI
* Experience with ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud or Sharepoint
