Department Description
The Support function provides technical support for all applications, operating 24/5 through a global front door, supported by business-aligned teams specializing in their divisions' applications.
Role Summary
This graduate role is based in the Application Support team for our Energy division. The team supports front office and post-trade applications, including trade capture, market data, settlement, clearing systems, and associated client applications. Responsibilities include handling support requests, incidents, problems, and business continuity activities to ensure high-quality service delivery.
You will start by learning the fundamentals and gradually take on analyst-level responsibilities such as issue ownership, support provision, incident management, and collaboration with infrastructure and IT teams.
Overall Responsibilities
* Monitor and validate market data quality, troubleshoot discrepancies.
* Manage incidents related to market data disruptions, escalate issues as needed.
* Support integration of third-party data feeds.
* Provide first-line support for trading and back-office platforms.
* Manage incidents following ITIL standards.
* Communicate system changes between technology and business units.
* Maintain process and trading system documentation.
* Oversee user account management ensuring security protocols are followed.
* Prioritize tasks effectively to maintain focus.
* Assist with compliance audits.
