Job Opportunity: HR Business Partner (Self-Employed, Part-Time)
Are you seeking an HR role that fits around your lifestyle? Clover HR is looking for a HR Business Partner to join our growing team on a self-employed basis, covering the Midlands.
Due to expanding client demand, we seek experienced HR professionals who have held standalone or senior decision-making roles. Clover HR specializes in bespoke HR consultancy services for SMEs across the UK. Our team provides comprehensive HR solutions, combining extensive knowledge and sound advice across all HR areas.
The successful candidate will work part-time, providing face-to-face, phone, and email HR support to clients. This is a field-based role from a home office, with occasional travel to client sites in and around the Midlands.
Role Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary HR contact for clients, advising on employee lifecycle matters
* Manage HR issues, offering pragmatic, commercially focused advice
* Support on recruitment, disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and sickness absence
* Provide TUPE & redundancy support
* Offer coaching and mentoring
* Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, handbooks, and employment contracts
* Network and onboard new business opportunities
Candidate Requirements
* CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent
* Essential employee relations experience
* Strong understanding of UK employment law and practical application
* Experience in a consultancy environment is a plus
* Flexible to respond quickly to client needs
Benefits
* £15/hour initially, increasing to £20/hour after 3 months based on performance
