Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Torque / Bucking Unit Technician located in the Greater Aberdeen Area, UK, Europe and other global locations.
The Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining fully rotational and stroking torque units, conducting scheduled servicing and calibration, and ensuring equipment performance to standard. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, troubleshooting and resolving operational issues, performing routine maintenance, and documenting all activities. The role also involves collaborating with other team members to ensure safety and efficiency in operations.
Qualifications
Experience operating and maintaining torque and bucking units, tubular handling, and force & pressure testing equipment
Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
Proficiency in conducting scheduled servicing, inspections, and calibration
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prior experience in the oil industry is a must.
Relevant technical certifications or training will also be required.
