As a MET Technician, your key duties will include:
10. Diagnosing, testing, stripping, rebuilding, and repairing motor vehicles
11. Investigating and reporting on vehicle and component repairability
12. Carrying out repairs according to manufacturer guidelines, insurance standards, and company policies.
13. Interpreting technical data and repair literature thoroughly
14. Working efficiently within allocated times and standards
Requirements of this MET Technician role include:
15. Formal qualification such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Engineering or equivalent
16. Full UK driving licence
17. Proven experience in automotive inspection and repair of vehicles (cars or vans)
18. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
19. Prior experience within a franchised dealership is preferred but not essential
