Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for uncovering insights that drive marketing and sales success? Our client is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team and play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable business intelligence.
As a Data Analyst, you’ll support Sales and Marketing functions by developing compelling Power BI dashboards, analysing customer and market data, and providing data-driven recommendations that shape strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain informative Power BI dashboards and visualisations.
* Analyse customer, market, and competitor data to uncover trends and insights.
* Deliver business performance and competitive landscape reports for the Marketing team.
* Extract and interpret data from complex relational databases using SQL.
* Use statistical tools to identify trends and patterns for both diagnostic and predictive purposes.
* Collaborate with marketing to optimise lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
* Monitor, evaluate, and forecast marketing and sales performance using data analytics.
* Design and implement A/B tests to improve campaign effectiveness.
* Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver tailored insights.
* Keep up to date with the latest tools, trends, and techniques in marketing analytics.
What We're Looking For
* A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within a marketing context.
* Strong proficiency in Power BI (or similar tools like Tableau).
* Ability to query relational databases using SQL.
* Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
1. Desirable Skills
* Experience using Python for data analysis and statistics.
* Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques.
* Experience working in a data analytics role within a marketing department
