Social Worker - Integrated Front Door (Children's Services) Rate: £37 per hour (Umbrella) Hours: 37 hours per week - Full-time Contract Type: Temporary / Contract About the Role We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Social Worker to join the Integrated Front Door (IFD) - Referral and Assessment Service in Bolton. Based at Castle Hill, this role provides a purposeful, professional duty service to children, families, and partner agencies. You'll play a key role in screening and assessing referrals, ensuring that children receive the right support at the right time - whether that's early help, a child in need plan, or statutory intervention under Section 47. Key Responsibilities Provide a professional duty service in line with statutory requirements and departmental policies. Screen and assess referrals to determine whether a Section 47 (Child Protection) enquiry or Children and Family Needs Assessment is required. Contribute to front door duty provision, offering accurate information, advice, and guidance to families and professionals. Arrange services and coordinate support for families requiring further intervention. Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard and promote children's welfare.
