Job Description:
Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) is the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.
KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets across six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
We are seeking a Principal Instrument & Control Engineer for a 12+ month contract based in Leatherhead.
Experience / Skills:
* Develop preliminary and final stage I&C design deliverables, including contributing to P&IDs (AutoCAD, Smart P&IDs), Instrument List, Instrument Specifications, and Data Sheets.
* Assist with design development for DCS, PLC, and SCADA-based process control systems.
* Support 3-D model development indicating instrument locations.
* Evaluate and select instrument, control valve, and analyzer solutions; review vendor documentation for compliance.
* Support field activities such as on-site surveys and equipment walk-downs.
* Collaborate with client counterparts to develop control system concepts, architectures, and platforms.
* Prepare or review construction budgets based on project scope and experience.
* Perform automation-related functions, including I/O lists and instrumentation specifications.
* Support risk assessments, including SIL, LOPA, and HAZOP studies.
* Assist in developing safety requirement specifications, with knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC 61511 standards.
* Experience in onshore oil and gas projects, both greenfield and brownfield.
* Experience with Saudi Aramco standards is essential.
