We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a supportive and well-established specialist school in the Chorley area. This provision caters to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including moderate to complex learning difficulties, autism, and associated needs.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver creative, differentiated maths lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners with SEN
* Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with cognitive, communication, and emotional needs
* Develop and implement individualised learning plans (ILPs) in collaboration with wider staff
* Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral teams
* Support pupils’ social, emotional, and independence skills alongside academic development

The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Maths at KS3/KS4 (SEN experience highly desirable but not essential)
* A strong understanding of adaptive teaching and differentiation
* Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a genuine passion for working in SEN
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils
