Job Overview:
Role: Planning and Logistics Manager
Reports to: Senior Operations Manager
Based at: Glebe Farm Foods Ltd.
This role involves planning and coordinating the production and logistics of orders, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
* Plan bulk/retail/oat/drink orders into the production schedule to meet delivery deadlines.
* Liaise with local and international third-party packers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery.
* Maintain accurate stock levels on SAGE 200.
* Coordinate with the Operations Manager and Finance on stock levels based on sales forecasts.
* Communicate with the Sales Department for sales forecasting.
* Manage logistics companies to ensure delivery requirements are met.
* Investigate customer delivery complaints.
* Ensure all export customs documentation is correct.
* Perform other tasks as required by the business.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience with Sage 200.
* Data analysis skills.
* Knowledge of BRC standards.
* Ability to meet KPIs such as 'Order in Time in Full' and 'Warehouse GMP Audit'.
Personal Attributes:
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
