We’re now looking for a Recruitment Manager with a strong business development mindset to drive growth, lead client relationships, and help shape the future of D7 Recruitment.
The Role
As Recruitment Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading, driving, and developing the D7 Recruitment team. Your primary focus will be on business growth and team performance combining commercial strategy with people leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Leadership & Team Development
* Lead, inspire, and drive the recruitment team to consistently achieve and exceed KPIs, revenue, and performance targets.
* Mentor, coach, and support consultants through one-to-one development plans, ensuring continuous improvement and motivation.
* Foster a positive, competitive, and collaborative team culture where success is celebrated and underperformance is managed proactively.
* Business Development
* Take ownership of the agency’s growth strategy, identifying and winning new business opportunities within the Health & Safety market.
* Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships, becoming a trusted recruitment partner.
* Engaging in client meetings, pitches, and negotiations.
* Represent D7 Recruitment at industry events, networking sessions, and client engagements.
* Operational & Strategic Management
* Set and monitor individual and team KPIs, ensuring alignment with company targets.
* Work closely with senior leadership on growth strategy and forecasting.
* Use data and market insights to drive decision‑making and identify new opportunities.
* Recruitment Delivery (as required)
* Support with recruitment when needed.
* Provide hands‑on guidance to consultants to ensure delivery standards remain high across the team.
About You
* Experienced recruitment leader with a proven track record of driving team performance and business growth.
* Strong business development background with the ability to win and manage key accounts.
* Confident, energetic leader with exceptional communication and motivational skills.
* Background in Health & Safety or Construction recruitment is desirable.
* Passionate about leadership, coaching, and building a high‑performing culture.
