Nexperia Manchester is now expanding its Semiconductor Process Engineering Team to support the Etch & Implant team. In this role, you will play a key part in sustaining daily production while driving long-term improvement projects across one of the most complex areas of the wafer fab. This is a great chance to work in a dynamic environment covering many processing technologies, offering a clear development path.
This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer with semiconductor experience, or a high potential graduate (Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or related discipline) looking to develop deep technical expertise in dry etch, implant and associated process technologies.
What you will do
As a Process Engineer at Nexperia you will split your time between reactive sustaining work and proactive project delivery with responsibilities that include:
Yield, Capability & Performance Improvement
* Sustain and improve mechanical and electrical yields to meet departmental targets
* Monitor and improve Cpk levels across all processes, including coordinating R&R studies on metrology equipment
* Ensure process performance is reviewed, tracked and reported in line with factory policy
