The Safeguarding Vulnerable People Partnership (SVPP) are looking for a Partnership Lead to help strengthen and improve multi‑agency safeguarding arrangements across Wiltshire.
Responsibilities
As the Partnership Lead (Children's), you will support the embedding of the SVPP's Quality Assurance Framework for children's safeguarding. You will coordinate multi‑agency audits, case reviews and performance activity, ensuring that local child protection and early help systems are effective and continuously improving.
You will work closely with the Families and Children's System Assurance Group (FCSA), bring practitioners together and ensure their insights shape partnership priorities. You will also oversee the continued development of safeguarding datasets for the three statutory safeguarding partners as the Families First Partnership programme is embedded. Agencies wishing to work with the Council must do so only via our approved procurement processes and neutral vendor arrangements.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and hold a recognised professional qualification or equivalent experience. They will bring substantial expertise in children’s safeguarding, with a strong track record of effective multi‑agency partnership working and delivering high quality assurance activity.
Benefits
* Hybrid working model: office staff must be on site for at least half of their hours, community‑based staff carry out at least half of their admin time in a workplace, and customer‑facing roles work entirely from their service location.
* Commitment to a workplace where positive relationships thrive and everyone feels engaged, supported and able to do their best.
