Euro Projects Recruitment is working in partnership with a market leading manufacturer of automated machinery to recruit a Field Service Engineer into their growing team. The business offer excellent facilities and cutting edge technology – you will receive product training to work on real high quality machinery.
This Field Service Engineer job will suit:
* Come from a mechanically biased service or maintenance background. Some electrical knowledge would be useful but we don’t need a bias within this area.
* Must have a driving licence and passport due to the travel element of the role.
* We are happy to train technically but you will have a good base understanding of mechanical and electrical systems on some form of special purpose or automation machinery.
* Could come from say an automotive, FMCG, Process, Pharma background (or similar).
This Field Service Engineer job will involve:
* Working both in house and on customer sites to support with repairs and testing of machinery.
* Conduct on-site installation, commissioning/Site Acceptance Tests, training, maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
* Advise customers on operation, maintenance, modifications, and upgrades.
* Answer complex technical questions on equipment, and work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
* Be able to evaluate and determine solutions working as a team or individually.
