Role Description
The Head of Golf & Leisure will oversee the operations and strategic growth of Brocket Hall's golf and leisure facilities, including the Championship golf courses and the Palmerston Golf Academy. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing teams, maintaining exceptional member and guest experiences, ensuring operational efficiency, and implementing innovative programs to attract and retain members. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Newcastle Upon Tyne, requiring a strong presence at the facility to lead and inspire the team effectively.
Qualifications
Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams within the golf or leisure industry
Strong expertise in golf facility operations, event planning, and member services
Exceptional communication, organizational, and management abilities
Business development skills with a focus on driving membership growth and revenue
A strong understanding of golf and leisure trends and customer engagement strategies
Experience managing budgets and financial performance
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing guest satisfaction
A background in hospitality and leisure management education is preferred
