Maintenance Manager
We're looking for a dedicated and hands-on Maintenance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will ensure our homes are safe, well-maintained, and comfortable environments for the individuals we support, including those with complex needs.
As Maintenance Manager, you will line manage the maintenance team, oversee planned and reactive maintenance, and carry out maintenance tasks yourself when required. You will take pride in ensuring that every area of the homes is kept to a high standard, creating a welcoming and homely environment for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, support, and line manage the maintenance team.
* Plan, prioritise, and oversee all maintenance work within the homes.
* Carry out hands-on maintenance tasks when needed, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Ensure all repairs, safety checks, and compliance requirements are up to date.
* Monitor the quality of maintenance work carried out by team members and contractors.
* Maintain records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs.
* Ensure all environments remain safe, compliant, and homely for residents and staff, including those with complex needs.
About You:
* Previous experience in maintenance is essential, with a strong understanding of all aspects of building, equipment, and property maintenance.
* Proven ability to manage and support a small team.
* Hands-on, practical approach with strong problem-solving skills.
* Good understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements.
* Able to assess and ensure that all maintenance work meets high quality standards.
