Role Responsibilities
The postholder will serve as the Head of Assessment for Phases 1 and 2 of the MBBS programme, collaborating with senior leaders to develop and implement assessment strategies compliant with GMC regulations and internal standards. Responsibilities include managing all assessment aspects, such as gateway, formative, and summative assessments, workplace-based assessments, student feedback, and assessor training and recruitment.
The role involves leveraging academic experience for research, scholarship, enterprise, teaching, leadership, and management within the School of Medicine. Experience in medical education assessment design, quality assurance, and leadership skills are essential.
