We are searching for a Park Ranger to join our tea m. In this key role y ou’ll assist in the upkeep of the park facilities and wider maintenance of our site whilst ensuring infrastructure is kept in excellent condition. Alongside excellent customer service skills, you’ll demonstrat e knowledge and expertise and assist with use of site facilities, advising on permits and enforcing bylaws .
You’ll be responsible for all aspects of safety and security of site for customers and staff, including supervision of the safe use of leisure equipment, security of all assets and the operation of security systems.
You’ll maintain the condition of the site, infrastructure, signage and fleet, with safety inspections and routing repairs. You’ll report defects with recommendations and report on contractor performance to the Head Ranger.
In this role you will be required to drive so a valid driving licence is essential .

What does it take to be aPark Ranger?
Experience in the maintenance and management of country parks and/or fisheries
Experience in land management and/or water based practical qualification (desirable)
Excellent communication and social skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to be flexible and willingness to learn
Availability to work weekends
Ability to work outside in all weather
Show enthusiasm about our parks and ability to share enthusiasm with customers
Full driving licence required
