Your Role As our Light Commercial Vehicle Specialist, you'll be the backbone of our workshop. Your role includes:
- LCV & Van Repair: Carrying out full servicing, maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs on a wide variety of LCVs and vans.
- Diagnostics: Using advanced diagnostic equipment to efficiently identify and fix mechanical and electrical faults.
- Safety Inspections: Performing safety-critical inspections on braking systems, transmissions, and suspension setups.
- Compliance: Ensuring every single job meets high quality, safety, and MOT compliance standards.
- Team Leadership: Keeping accurate service records and helping to mentor apprentice technicians within the garage.
What You Need
- Experience: Proven track record as an LCV Technician, Van Mechanic, or Light Commercial Vehicle Fitter.
- Skills: Strong overall mechanical knowledge and a professional approach to electronic diagnostic tools.
- Licence: A full, valid UK driving licence.
- Attributes: A motivated, reliable professional who takes genuine pride in high standards of workmanship and works safely within a busy team.
