Your Role
As a core Vehicle Technician in our Gloucester team, you will:
* Mechanical Repairs: Carry out essential servicing, braking, steering, suspension, and transmission repairs.
* Advanced Diagnostics: Use modern automotive software and multi-brand diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults.
* Technical Support: Work alongside Senior Technicians to tackle high-level fault diagnosis and deep engine work.
* Safety Inspections: Perform thorough vehicle health checks (VHC) and maintain accurate technical documentation.
* Quality Standards: Deliver "first-time fix" quality, ensuring high engineering standards and complete customer satisfaction.
What You Need
* Qualifications: Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent NVQ/City & Guilds) is preferred.
* Experience: Minimum of 18 months hands-on workshop experience (we are happy to have a flexible discussion based on your individual skills).
* Tools & Kit: Your own professional vehicle repair hand tools are preferred.
* Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required.
* Mindset: A strong interest in diagnostics, a reliable work ethic, and a genuine desire to progress your qualifications to Level 3 or Master Tech status.
