Spire Parkway Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy department on a flexible working contract, with flexible hours during the week. As a key team member, you will support the department in pharmacy services including ordering, stock control, and preparation of medicines.
Main duties of the job
* Monitor stock levels within the Pharmacy to maintain appropriate stock levels.
* Assist with procurement of pharmaceutical stock using electronic systems.
* Participate in pharmacy and departmental stock takes.
* Provide administrative support to the department.
* Contribute to the safe, effective, and cost-efficient use of medicines.

Job responsibilities
As a Bank Pharmacy Technician at Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull, you will support the pharmacy department in providing services, working within your competence and current legislation. The hospital offers a range of private services, with a focus on compassionate patient care and advanced treatments in various specialties.
* Support the pharmacy department in stock management and procurement.
* Assist in pharmacy and departmental stock takes.
* Provide general administrative support.
* Ensure the safe and cost-effective use of medicines.
Who we're looking for
* A GPhC-registered Pharmacy Technician with no restrictions.
* Hospital experience preferred, minimum 1 year.
* Experience in a pharmaceutical department.
* Excellent communication skills and a team player.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* Flexible hours, Monday to Saturday, 9am-5pm, 9am-1pm on Saturday.
