Lead Estimator Hybrid Working - Warwick

LHH is delighted to be partner with our client, a multinational leader in the utilities sector as they recruit a Lead Estimator for their exciting journey towards Carbon zero.
We are seeking candidates with strong numeracy and commercial experience in developing cost estimates within the Electrical Transmission industry sector, covering all areas of construction activities. You will work closely with the strategic sourcing and contract management Procurement teams, producing accurate and high-quality cost estimates and supporting the development and writing of winning bidding and contract strategies. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and make a significant impact.
In this role, you will manage and report costs across various industry sectors such as Energy, Aerospace, Construction Engineering, Commercial Construction, and Defence. You will generate cost estimates for all aspects of construction activities, including Civil, Mechanical, and E&I, and support Procurement Contracting in developing and writing winning bidding and contracting strategies. To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge of construction and installation techniques and their implications on cost, experience as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor within regulated industry sectors, and be results-oriented with the ability to understand the impact of decisions and changes on costs
