Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join a growing building services consultancy, working across a diverse portfolio of projects within the construction sector. The Role:
As an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical design solutions across a range of sectors. You will be involved in all aspects of the design process, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the development of project briefs and design criteria
*
Delivering mechanical design packages across multiple projects
*
Producing detailed drawings, specifications, and performance calculations
*
Supporting client meetings and project coordination activities
*
Collaborating with CAD teams and wider design teams
*
Assisting with BREEAM-related activities
*
Monitoring project progress and developing site understanding
*
Reviewing contractor design proposals and performance
*
Working collaboratively to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements:
*
Experience within building services / mechanical design engineering
*
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
*
Ability to produce high-quality technical drawings and specifications
*
Experience working across multiple project sectors (desirable)
*
Knowledge or exposure to BREEAM (advantageous)
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
