Role
This highly ranked Top 50 firm is looking for an experienced Managing Associate to join a highly regarded Technology and Data team within a top-tier UK law firm.
This role is central to delivering strategic legal advice on high-value technology projects across a broad spectrum from SaaS and cloud computing to cutting-edge developments in AI and Web3.
You'll work on significant digital regulation matters and oversee complex tech procurement and outsourcing deals.
With access to an impressive client base spanning sectors such as Digital, Financial Services, Government and Public Services, Future Energy and Retail & Consumer Goods, you'll manage your own projects while benefiting from close collaboration with partners and peers across the national network.
Your Experience
* 6+PQE with relevant Digital Regulation experience
* Proven ability to lead complex technology transactions and procurements
* Experience advising on regulatory issues, ideally including digital regulation (e.g., data protection, online safety or consumer law)
* Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills in tech-related commercial contracts
* Client-focused with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain lasting relationships
* Motivated, collaborative and capable of taking ownership of strategic legal work with appropriate oversight
* Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
