Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Bristol
We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant at a secondary school in Bristol.
To be considered, you must have excellent experience working with children with special needs and relevant qualifications. Knowledge of needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH (Social, Emotional Mental Health) is desirable.
The teaching staff collaborate to support children not only academically but also in their personal development. Your main duties will include providing 1:1 support and interventions outside the main classroom. You should handle situations calmly and bring a positive, patient attitude to the environment.
You will not be responsible for planning or marking, but enthusiasm and creativity in lessons are vital! Morning briefings will be held to plan the day as a team, providing opportunities to discuss students' progress with senior staff.
