New Directions Education is recruiting Secondary Art Teachers to support a range of high schools across Leeds. If you’re passionate about inspiring creativity in KS3 and KS4 learners and want the variety and flexibility of supply work, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
1. Delivering engaging Art lessons to KS3–KS4 students
2. Following departmental plans while bringing your creative flair
3. Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive, productive classroom
4. Covering short‑term absences, day‑to‑day supply, and longer placements
5. Supporting schools across Leeds with high‑quality, consistent provision
What We’re Looking For
6. QTS or relevant secondary teaching qualification (ECTs welcome)
7. Strong subject knowledge in Art & Design
8. Confidence teaching a range of artistic techniques and media
9. A flexible, proactive approach to working in different school environments
10. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
