The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a leading property team within a respected regional firm. This role offers the chance to manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters, working alongside highly experienced professionals in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied caseload including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
* Liaise effectively with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties to ensure a smooth transaction process
* Handle all aspects of the conveyancing process from instruction to post-completion
* Ensure all transactions are managed in line with service level agreements, quality standards, and compliance requirements
* Provide technical advice and assistance to colleagues and clients where needed
* Deal confidently with matters involving personal representatives, trusts, attorneys, and matrimonial aspects
* Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, referrers, and local agents
About You:
* Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Chartered Legal Executive, or equivalent, with demonstrable experience managing your own conveyancing caseload (4-5 yrs)
* Experience in complex residential matters such as Shared Ownership, Lease Extensions, and New Builds
* Strong understanding of title issues, SDLT, and Land Registry requirements
* Confident using case management systems (CMS) and Microsoft Office applications
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Strong communicator with a proactive, client-focused approach
* Collaborative and adaptable, with a positive attitude and commitment to delivering quality service
