Senior Content Designer/UX Writer
We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Senior Content Designer/UX Writer
to join our product team. You will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and helpful content that guides users through our digital products, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience (UX). This role requires a strong blend of writing craft, UX design thinking, and collaborative leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Write:
Own the content strategy and execution for key product flows, features, and platform-level communications, including microcopy, error messages, tooltips, and informational text.
UX Collaboration:
Partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Researchers, and Engineers to define user problems and influence the product design, ensuring content is an integral part of the user experience.
Standards and Style:
Help define, maintain, and evangelize content standards, voice, and tone guidelines across our product suite.
Testing and Iteration:
Plan and execute content testing (A/B tests, user interviews) to validate content choices and iterate based on data and user feedback.
Mentorship:
Provide content review and feedback to junior team members and cross-functional partners, helping to elevate the quality of content across the organization.
Qualifications
5+ years
of professional experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer, or similar role focusing on digital product experiences.
A portfolio demonstrating successful content solutions for complex problems across various platforms (web, mobile app, etc.).
Expert-level understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to present and defend content decisions to stakeholders.
