Your new role
As a Highways Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing site activities related to structural maintenance and refurbishment works. You’ll manage subcontractors, ensurepliance with health and safety standards, and maintain accurate site records. The role will involve close coordination with delivery teams, engineers, andmercial staff to ensure works are delivered efficiently and to specification.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supervising daily site operations and workforce
2. Ensuringpliance with RAMS and site safety protocols
3. Monitoring progress and reporting to project management
4. Supporting quality assurance and documentation
5. Liaising with stakeholders and maintaining clearmunication
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll need proven experience in highways or civils supervision, ideally on bridge or viaduct projects. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to lead teams effectively are essential as well as:
