Maintenance Engineer
Location: West Bromwich
Salary: £45,894 + overtime
Friday, Saturday, Sunday off - EVERY WEEK!
Lifestyle balance shift:
Week 1: 6am – 4pm Monday - Thursday
Week 2: 8pm - 6am (nights) Monday - Thursday
Fri/Sat/Sun off
The Company:
Interested in up to 36 days holiday a year and Fri/Sat/Sun OFF every week? My Client has a requirement for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their already successful team. They are part of the medium/heavy industry, and some of the machines you will be working on include slitters, presses, sheers, blanking lines, cranes, and more machinery. You will need to have good knowledge of working with 3-phase motors, contactors, sensors, relays, etc. PLC knowledge isn’t a deal breaker; they would consider mechanically biased candidates with electrical skills as well.

* Pension – The Company will contribute 5.5%, and employees are required to contribute a minimum of 3.5% of annual earnings.
Experience required for the maintenance engineer:
* At least three years’ experience repairing and maintaining special purpose plant machinery – electrically biased ideal, but will consider mechanically biased candidates with electrical skills
* Experience with heavy industry is advantageous but not a deal breaker
* Ability to read schematic drawings/electrical wiring diagrams and experience working with 3-phase motors, sensors, drives, contactors, relays
