SEN Primary Teacher – Full Time (Complex SEN & Behaviour) Location: B34
Pay: £150 – £210 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday – Until the end of the academic year (with potential to extend)

High levels of complex SEN across KS1 and KS2
Pupils with EHCPs, Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs
Behaviour can be extremely challenging – strong behaviour management is essential

The Role
Lead a class of pupils with complex SEN and behavioural needs
Deliver highly structured, differentiated and engaging lessons
Plan personalised learning programmes in line with EHCPs and IEPs
Implement behaviour strategies consistently and confidently
Create a calm, safe and predictable classroom environment
Track academic, social and emotional progress
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCO, Behaviour Mentors and external agencies
Attend multi-agency meetings and contribute to reviews
Promote safeguarding, inclusion and pupil wellbeing at all timesThis role would suit someone experienced in KS1 or KS2 who is confident working in high-need, high-support settings.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential
Minimum 6 months’ experience supporting Autism
Experience working with complex SEN and challenging behaviour
Strong behaviour management skills
Calm, resilient and consistent approach
Committed to full-time reliability
Able to provide 2 references covering the past 2 years (one must reference work with children)
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
